Though the early genesis and spread of this scourge is still a topic of skepticism, the terrible repercussions that have been produced by this invisible enemy on humanity are uncountable. In this article we are going to discuss about how the human life has taken a metamorphosis of change. The global COVID-19 pandemic has likely generated a one-of-a-kind universal learning moment for humanity, exposing the flaws in our cultural and economic structures and institutions, as well as how they assist us in times of acute crisis. Its mandate to self-isolate, limit external interactions, and work from home has meant that only those with constant access to the internet and digital technologies, primarily white collar workers with steady pay and benefits, have been able to navigate this crisis relatively unscathed, both financially and health wise.
